Conversation Of The Day at Work pt 2

I watched with amazement as some upper east side habitue crawled out of his rent controlled hole and peppered a Best Buy employee with questions about the store’s classical music section

She turned to me and asked: ” What’s a turntable?”

Me: “You see the Vinyl section? That’s what you play then on.”

BBY employee : “oh.”

I swear he reminded me of this guy:

RE: Are you kidding me?

Now its no secret I don’t post as often as I should, but after reading my friend Andy’s blog, Brooklyn Food Monkey (http://www.brooklynfoodmonkey9.com/) I was inspired to write something. Unfortunately by buddy Jeff aka Sweet Dick Willie decided to make a point about Dan Ackroyd’s accomplishments since Ghost busters which I derided in a previous post. (Mind you this is from last December so it further shows how fucking lame I am.) So I have cut and pasted Jeff’s reply with a few retorts of my own. I swear I’ll try and write something original soon.

Since Ghostbusters part1. Dan has done:

2012 Ghostbusters III (characters) (announced) This has been in development since before Clinton was President. There’s a better chance of a Martin & Lewis reunion and they’re both dead.

1998 Blues Brothers 2000 (film The Blues Brothers / written by) Took too long to do this. But it was ok.

1991 Nothing But Trouble (screenplay) Crap. One of the worst pieces of shit ever on film. The best thing about it was the Digital Underground song.

1987 Dragnet (written by) a half an hour of this is enough.
